People v. J.B.

The district attorney alleged that the client fled from the police, caused an injury, and was under the influence of alcohol. The original plea offer was 5 years in state prison. After detailed investigation, Attorney Miles Booth was able to show that the client was not under the influence, and did not cause serious injury to the victim. The cleint pled to misdemeanor evading, with no jail time, probation, and 40 days of community labor.

People v. O.T.

Client was charged with felony vandalism. After extensive negotiation Client pled to misdemenaor vandalism, was placed on only three months of probation, and had the case expunged after three months as part of the plea agreement.

People v. D.W.

Client was charged with hit and run causing injury after hitting a pedestrian and fleeing the scene. After a thorough defense investigation and negotiation Client pled to a traffic infraction with a fine.

Client and his wife were having ongoing marital problems. Client and wife engaged in an argument that escalated, and led to the wife makng a domestic violence allegation. After a one week jury trial, and cross examination of the wife, witness, and police officers, the jury found Client not guilty.

Client facing county jail on a battery charge, and state prison on a violation of felony probation, pled to 15 days community labor and 10 anger management sessions.

Client was charged with two counts of felony identity thefy and one count of forgery. Client made a full confession, had a substantial criminal history, and the incident was caught on video. The original plea offer was 16 months in state prison. After aggressive negotiation Client pled to probation without any custody time.

Client was charged with one count of felony grand theft. Miles Booth was able to get the case reduced to a misdemeanor, and Cleint avoided any jail time.

Client was charged with shoplifting. Miles Booth negotiated a resolution wtih the District Attorney that resulted in all charges being dismissed.
